What the school offers: The school academic system is structured to accommodate children from age a year and half to eleven years. The school runs three departments starting from LDC (language development class) phonics to primary classes. The nursery classes’ section caters for children within the ages of 3 to 5, while the primary accommodates the children within the ages of 5 to 11 years.
We run Nigerian curriculum with a touch of Montessori approach. Subjects offered both in the nursery and primary section are children centered. In Peem Peace Nursery and Primary school every child is important to us, no child is left out without being given adequate attention. Academic, excellence and spiritual prowess are our watchword. We use professionals and God-fearing teachers.
The names of the teaching staff, the head-teacher Mrs. Ese Ruth Dodokior an educationist, directress and founder of the school. The school was finally approved by the Lagos state government. The names of the other staffs are Mrs Anaechi Stella ,head teacher for nursery section, Miss. Jecinte Emmanaul, Miss. Udeh Angela, Mr. Mathew Babarinde.
The school environment is serene and conducive for learning. Co-curricular activities are not left out: Our children are versatile in their creative arts class practical can be seen in their cut and paste postal, making of greeting cards, in cultural activities they display their rich cultures in local and musical instruments. In physical and health education the children excel in their practices in their inter-house sports games, Girls guild, Boys scouts. Choreography etc.
In transportation the school is still lacking. However the school is looking forward in having a school bus so that the system will be effective and efficient.
I’m indebted to the Board member Author Angela Hall-Averre for donating story textbooks last term for the pupils and Laptop computer, which is the only functioning computer the school has. Other board members are Mrs. Onome Idogho and Monday Dodokior, Peter Oghenovo.
The school still needs help through funds to meet up its building construction, in other to properly meet its educational goal.
My Goal if giving this fund grant is to continue to provide better conducive environment in which the pupils academic, social, emotional and spiritual potential can develop fully.
